Session Length
My minimum session length is 2 hours, so please don't request any shorter length as I do nothing less than 2. For one thing, it means that you don't get to spend as much time with me or I you, but more importantly it really doesn't offer you the opportunity to really experience what I believe Tantra is all about
And yes, the first part of the session is conversation.....but that in itself is really important.......for us to spend quality time together it is important to get to know a little about each another.
So come prepared to talk and to open up. The more you open up yourself to me, the more you will find that we will connect.
Staying in the moment
The most of important aspect of Tantra is staying fully in the moment in all that we do so that we can fully experience it. Of course, this isn't the easiest thing to do. In fact we often only catch glimpses but even just glimpses can be transformational. And that is all that I can ever hope to do in session is help you to try and catch a glimpse of what living in the moment and experiencing fully that moment is all about. If I have done that with you then you will have experienced Tantra.
One reason why many come to a Tantra session is to experience something different. In order to do this though one must be open to change. However, some clients have not shown up with a completely open mind. Unless one can let go of expectations then you are limiting yourself and me at the same time.
Allow me to give to you and stay present so that you can receive and experience fully. By surrendering in this manner I will be able to give more. But, if you are wanting me to do something else other than what I'm doing in my time with you then your mind is wandering, resulting in you not being fully present and not receiving as fully as you could. This will also affect my ability to give to you. And so you'll go away somewhat disappointed.
"Do not seek fame. Do not make plans. Do not be absorbed by activities. Do not think that you know. Be aware of all that is and dwell in the infinite. Wander where there is no path. Be all that heaven gave you, but act as though you have received nothing. Be empty, that is all." CHUANG TZU
I'm back....
I now have some things to talk about and so here's a new entry. You see I didn't want to write a log of each place I visited but more of interesting things or experiences that have happenened to me on this journey that I am on.
I can honestly say though that I have changed greatly these last few month and my work also. And as I continue onwards, the path I am on becomes more clear.
Firstly however I have to let you know that I have new pictures, some of which are posted now.
So, on my latest trip to San Francisco I had 3 cancellations after my arrival. Not that I don't get cancellations in other cities, I do. But I guess that was the last straw. Cancellations are really hard to make up since I rely on a certain number of appts to break even and when I get late cancellations it is very hard to fill in those time slots and I am often time left twiddling my thumbs! Anyway, to avoid this in the future I am asking for a deposit to hold your appt time. The deposit is non-refundable but I will try and reschedule you if my schedule allows. I also hope that you understand that this does help offset some of my costs to visit your city.
And sorry SF.....I ended cutting my trip short and therefore it doesn't look like I'll be returning anytime soon. Such a shame as it's a really awesome place.
The last 3 months
I known it's been a while and of course we've had Xmas and New Year's and all the stuff in-between. I guess I've had a bit of writer's block....sorry.
Yeah, December and January went by really fast with all the shopping and usual festive preparations plus I also visited NYC in Dec and Boston in Jan. And then Feb arrived before I knew it.
But first things first I wish all that know me, past, present and future, an awesome year and hope that you are blessed with much abundance and happiness. Also if you haven't contacted me in a year I would love to hear from you and how you're doing and if things are working for you and if not perhaps it's time you had another session. And no it doesn't have to be with me....there are many other goddesses out there and it is always good to receive input from other sources.
Anyway, I digress. February....wow. And the reason I say this is because its now been one year since I quit my full-time day job. So to leave the security of a weekly pay check as well as the benefits from working for a large organization is a big step. However, it's been worth it to say the least and I must say I feel very blessed and thankful to be able to do something I love. I have much more free time but it's really funny how I don't have as much time as I thought I would......I really wonder how I was able to accomplish all the things I used to do and hold down a job too!
But if I look back over the year it's been quite a year of change and it definitely hasn't been easy. I still have bills to pay like everyone else as well as raise my 5, soon to be 6 year old, as a single parent. But living as a Tantric and embracing the good as well as the bad..... accepting it all without judgement, that makes a huge difference to your quality of life.
Anyway, what did I do last year.....Tons, here are just a few of the highlights.
As you know I went to Hawaii las year to study with Shawn Roop of Tantraquest, then in April to Kripalu to study with Daniel Odier, then in July I did NLP practitioner training. I also went to the Omega Center in October although that training did not work for me....hey not everything is going to suit you. I also learned not to go to Boston in the summer or NYC just before Xmas.....but it was amazing to be in NYC at that time and to see the Xmas tree at the Rockerfeller center and the storefront at Macy's. I went to new places like Calgary, Edmonton, Hawaii, Miami and DC, as well as different parts of cities that I'd been to before, like the North end of Boston and the Financial district in NYC.
So now it's 2007 and as I've already mentioned I was in Boston in Jan after which all my travel been personal. The first trip was a vacation....which I haven't really had for many years and which I got to take with my partner, or rather he took me. It was only 5 days ....I don't think 5 days have ever gone by so quickly.... but we had a fantastic time together.
The second trip was on the west coast of Mexico and was a week long retreat with Daniel Odier. The resort was beautiful, natural and unspoiled, the people at the resort and the group I was with were all wonderful and the time spent with Daniel was captivating. It was an amazing experience and one which I am still processing.
So there you have it...I think I'm about caught up. I'm off to Atlanta tomorrow...first time ever in this city. Plus I'm looking forward to getting back to work and integrating all that I have learned recently.
October
Did you see the new pictures I posted? Some more of me but some of me with my partner, TL.....who is also a Tantrica and trained Daka. I really love the photos of us together and I hope you do too. We both really aim on taking loving couples to a new place with their relationship. However, we both know that in order to get to that place we need to focus on ourselves first and honour who we are as individuals so our work with individuals is equally as important.
October....hmm....what a long time ago that seems and as usual it was busy. The first part of the month, TL and I had a mini vacation. We took a weekend workshop at the Omega Center in Rhinebeck, NY. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the workshop and so didn't even bother attending it after finding out what it was all about. But at least we could spend more time together relaxing which was really what we both needed.
The latter part of the month I visited Boston. I was really excited to hook up with a close personal girlfriend, Goddess Uma. Uma lives in Hawaii so we don't often get to see one another and so it was great to be able to work together too.
Oh and BTW the North End of Boston where I was staying....what a fantastic location!
